Since you already have the software, you will need a Windows-compatible computer running any of the following versions of versions: 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP/VISTA or higher. You will also need a monitor, keyboard and mouse. Later you will need a printer to print bills and reports.

Office Supplies

To use QuickPractice efficiently, you need some of the compatible supplies that are listed below:

• CMS-1500 (08/05) forms in duplicate (or more) to print insurance bills.
• Accompanying window envelopes (to mail CMS 1500 forms). #10 Windows envelopes may be used.
• 3 ½ - inch High-Density 1.44 K Diskettes for backing up: (unless you are using another medium, i.e. zip drive, extra hard drive, CD, etc…).
• White paper for printing patient information and other practice data.
• (optional) Mailing labels to print lists.
• Internet Connection if you plan on billing insurance claims electronically.

Information

• A list of your current diagnosis codes (ICD-9).
• A list of your current procedure codes (CPT-4).
• A list of your most used insurance carriers, including names, addresses, phone numbers, and contact persons.
• A list of active patient files. By "active," we mean patients you are currently treating.
